Committees

The Committees tab provides information about the committees a person is or has been a part of. It helps track a person's involvement and roles in various organizational committees over time. Each committee term is listed along with relevant details such as start and end dates, role, and whether the person was a voting member.

Note that Aptify utilizes Committees as a way to hold community members for our Higher Logic Communities. In Salesforce, the Higher Logic Sync does NOT use Committees to hold community members. We will need to review the Salesforce / Higher Logic integration to determine how to best handle this data. However, we still need Committee Terms or something similar to hold Board, State Liaison, and other true committtee roles.

Fields

Overview Sub-Tab

Contains a summary list of all the committees the person has been involved with. Each row provides a snapshot of the person's participation, including the committee term, whether they were a voting member, their rank, the committee name, their title within the committee, and the start and end dates of their term.

Term Details Sub-Tab

Provides detailed information about the specific committee term the person was involved in. This includes general details like goals, accomplishments, and a summary of the term. It also has checkboxes for allowing duplicate members and enabling web access for eBiz communities.

Members Sub-Tab

Lists all members of the committee for the specified term, along with their rank and title. This helps track who served on the committee during each term and their respective roles.

This is just a linked list of the Committee Members object. The fields do not exist in the Person object.

Additional Details

• Region and State Province Fields: These fields are used to identify which individuals to show on a member's account page as their assigned Regional Directors and State Liaisons. They help in organizing and displaying the correct committee members for specific roles.
